Some cats have 2 names because they have been renamed when found a permanent home.

Ginger JETHRO (above) is thought to have been born between 2001 and 2004. He was found on the streets with a nasty wound on his face and he was very unwell. Sadly Jethro was having fits which are now controlled with tablets. Depressed when he came to us, he needed a loving home and he now has one with Paws for Life.

Lovely tabby JOJO (above) was born in 2005. Her former owner was so she needed a new home - and we found one for her.
JET (renamed Alfie - above) is FIV+ve, and very friendly. He will grab your arm and roll all over the floor.......very playful. He is a cat with a dominant personality. Jet was born about 2005.
Gorgeous JAMIE (left) was born around 2005-6. Jamie is a lovely and friendly boy. Click here for another photo of Jamie.
JOSHUA (renamed Pushkin - above) was born around 2003. He is FIV+ve but as you can see, he is just so very beautiful.
JACKSON (right) is a young cat, an FIV+ve male. He had a rough few months before he came to us; he broke his jaw. He is now fully recovered. A big boy full of love. Click here for more photos of this handsome cat.
JASPER (above) is a beautiful friendly boy born about 2003. Jasper loves affection. He is FIV+ve. Click here for more photos of Jasper.
JEMMA (above - born 1995) was rescued with her mother Jilly because they were mistreated, but they lost their 2nd home when their owners emigrated. Sadly, Jilly died in 2009 but Jemma is still giving and getting lots of love.
JEWEL (above) was 10 months old when she came to Paws for Life mid-2008 and she had not been spayed. Jewel is a very small cat who is unlikely to get much bigger. She is a strange little thing and we think she was taken away from her mother too early. What's more she is a real madcap! See more photos of Jewel.
JESSICA (above) was found just before Christmas 2008 by a postman. She had been run over by a car and had to have her tail amputated. She is thought to have been born between December 2007 and May 2008. Click here for another photo of Jessica.
J.D. (above) is a lovely boy born in 2005 and he is so glad he now has a place he can call home with Paws for Life.
JEMIMA (Jemma - left) was born May 2009 and is with her sister Ermintrude (Trudi). The sisters came from a litter of five - two girls and three boys (who are all black).  They now have a home to call their own. Click here for another photo of Jemima and here to see the girls together.
JERRY (above) lives with his sister Tom. They were born about 2004 and   they are FIV+ve. They are both lovely and friendly siblings who came from another shelter due to lack of space.  Right hand photo has no larger image. Click here for lovely photos of Tom & Jerry together.
JAZZ (above) was abandoned outside someone's door in a cool bag in the snowy weather. We think This lovely girl was born 2002-2004.
JASON (above) is thought to have been born around 2003. He had an ear abscess when he was found, but this has healed and his fur has grown back, he now looks as good as new. Click here to see more photos of this handsome boy.
JACK (renamed Charlie - above) was an unneutered stray aged 1-2 years when found (2009).  He found a home that would feed him but they already had a cat which didn't like him so they handed him over to us.  He was once someone's pet as he has a collar mark around his neck.  Unfortunately when male cats are not neutered, they can roam long distances and get themselves lost.  May be this is what has happened to Jack... but unfortunately we will never know. If he had been microchipped we could have traced his owner, and if he had been neutered it is likely he would never have strayed at all. Click here for more photos of Jack.
JESSICA (above) is a  half Siamese born in 1995. Her owner emigrated and she needed a new quiet home with no other pets or young children. Jessica is happy to be an indoor cat and gives lots of love. Click here for more photos of Jessica.

Black JACK (left) was brought in as a stray, unneutered and FIV+. He has now been neutered and vaccinated. He was born about 2007 and has now found a loving home with Boss.
