NOTE: THESE CATS ALREADY HAVE A HOME WITH 9 LIVES OR PAWS FOR LIFE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GIVE A CAT A HOME, PLEASE GO TO OUR 'HOMES WANTED' PAGE.
CATS LIVING TOGETHER PAGE 2

LILY (above left) was thought to be born late 2006. She was abandoned with her companion ROSIE (above right). Lily was painfully thin, probably because Rosie took most of the available food but now she has gained weight and is happy and healthy. She is very playful. Click here for more pics of Lily and here for Rosie.
GEORGIE (formerly Lulu, above left) was born 2006 and needed a home together with her friend BOBBY, (formerly Smudge, above right) and Paws for Life found them just that. Georgie likes to be a house cat. Click here for another photo of Georgie and here for one of Bobby.
Tortie KITTY (above right) was born about November 2010. She is very friendly, playful and loves to chase things like paper balls, socks and will do this until completely exhausted when she will happily curl up with you or in a warm spot. She is very sociable and likes to be where there is some company.  She was living with an older cat, but the older cat was finding her too much to handle. LULU (above left) was born 2003. She came to us because her owner's life style and commitments at work changed dramatically and there was no longer enough time to give to Lulu.
RUDY (above left) was sadly abandoned with his sister MOLLY when their owners lost their home through repossession. Molly is an affectionate, loving cat. They were born 2004-7.
WIZBEE (right) has the nickname Switch, due to her unpredictable nature. She is fine if you stroke her head ears or neck, but will not tolerate any other part of her body being touched or brushed. She is very beautiful though, with lovely green eyes. She lives with her companion MON AMI (left) who is shy and timid. Mon Ami likes to sit quietly on the window sill. She doesn't sit on laps, but does love to be stroked and brushed. They were both born 2006.
OLIVIA (above left) came to us when she was about a year old and pregnant. She was born in 2007. She was almost feral and needed time and patience to learn to trust humans. While with us she became friends with BOBBY and they now have a home together. Click here for more photos of Olivia. Tabby Bobby (formerly Sky, above right) was born 2008. She was rescued from overcrowded living conditions where she had little or no human contact so she needed time to learn to trust. She is now happily living with her friend.
POPPY and PATCH were living rough. Poppy is sleek and black and Patch is mainly white with black spots. A kind lady was feeding them over the winter trying to tame them enough to be caught. Poppy had given birth at the same time as her sister but all her kittens died. The dear cat brought her dead babies to the lady who was feeding her. Patch trooped in with her two live kittens.  Both sisters shared the task of caring for Patch's kittens. Poppy is a little nervous around people but building trust will improve this. Patch is more sociable and gives her sister great comfort. Both were born about autumn 2009. The kittens have been found a home together.
MICK JAGGER (formerly Richard) & & ELVIS COSTELLO (formerly Florence) are brothers born 2008. Their owner had to go overseas and could not take them with him. The picture of both of them is when they were kittens. The other photo - well, we don't know whether this is Mick or Elvis but he's cute anyway.

ROXY (above left) and his and his friend TIGGER (above right) had to be found a new home when their owner emigrated. They were born in 2004.
PUMBAA (formerly Spot, above left) and TIMONE (formerly Travis, above right) were strays living with their mother and siblings at the back of a solicitor's practice. They were born in 2009. See them together here. There mother is Coco (formerly Wiselee).

Black SASHA and white SADIE were only 6 weeks old (February 2010) when they came to Paws for Life. They were going to be killed by a nationally well known charity because they were born in the wild. Sadly we lost track of their mother and sibling. More lovely photos here.

Gentle TOBY (born 1997 - above left) is a black short haired male. His owner died leaving behind Toby, tabby and white TARA (born 2003 - above right) and 8 other cats. Toby & Tara have been found a home together. Click here for another photo of Toby.

VINNIE (above left) is a big and cuddly tabby cat born about 2008-9. He was picked up as an unneutered stray and is FIV+ve. He was about to be killed but is now safe in our care. He is fine with other cats but he does not like dogs. Vinnie now shares a home with 9 Lives cat, ZIGGY (above right) and the two have become an inseparable double-act. FIV+ve ZIGGY is thought to have been born about 2002. When he was found he had a massive abscess on his face and around his neck which was making him depressed. Abscesses are usually the result of cat bites incurred in fighting and such bites spread FIV. Neutering male cats goes a long way to prevent this disease. See more of Vinnie and Ziggy too here.
CLEVELAND (left) was born in 2000 and is the son of STORY (right). They are both FIV positive. Their owners were expecting a baby and wanted them to be rehomed. They are 9 Lives cats.
CHIPS (left) and her sister SCAMPI (right) were born in 1992. Their owner was allergic to them so they needed another home. They are now together in a 9 Lives home.
LALA is a lovely lady born around 1997. She has sore gums which have to be monitored. A really sweet very friendly cat, living with MUFFIN. Muffin is a shorthaired torbie female born about 1992. She is blind in her left eye. A very sweet little 9 Lives cat.
LEO, a tabby lion of a cat who has a central nervous system problem. Age not known, with a 9 Lives carer since the mid-90s. He lives with MIA who is a beautiful colour point with an eye problem. Born in 1998 and unwanted by her owners she joined her carer's family as a companion for Leo.

NEMO (above left) is FIV+ve. His age is not known, probably born about 2004. He has a lovely fat face and flat ears. He has suffered from eczema but this has now cleared up. However, it could return. Nemo is now in a 9 Lives home where he can stay with his pal TOBY (above right). TOBY had only 2 hours to live when he was taken into 9 Lives care in 2005. Rescued from unnecessary euthanasia because he is FIV+ve.
ANGEL (left) is a vocal, friendly cat. MUSH (right) had a crush injury to her back legs as a younger cat, and has a slight gait. She is also a chatty and friendly lady. Both cats were born 2004 and they came to Paws for Life when their owners emigrated.
Paws for Life HARVEY (pictured left) is an incredibly extroverted and playful cat who loves human company. He is black and white with classic Victorian butler markings. Liking the good things in life he is a bit overweight and needs to be kept on a diet. MISHKA (right) is a small pretty tortie & white with a rather timid personality. She loves to sit on her owner's lap. They are brother and sister born 2000-2001. See them together here.
PIPPA (left) was born in 2010 and her daughter JOFIE (right) was born 2011.   Their owner had to move and went to a place where cats are not allowed.  They were left to live outside at the old address and were being fed by a neighbour.  They are both sweet natured girls and now they have a Paws for Life forever home.

TINKER was born 2006 and his mum PHOEBE 2005. They are two delightful cats that needed to stay together. They had been abandoned by their owner and just left outside to fend for themselves. They love to have their bellies rubbed for long periods. See them together here.

MISSY and TOOTY are mother (born 1995) and daughter (born 1996). They lived with their elderly owner who could no longer look after them. Both are friendly cats who love attention. Missy & Tooty were 15 and 16 years old when they were found their Paws for Life home. Sorry, no larger photo.
Pictured right, SHADOW was born in 1999 and STEVIE in 2004. Shadow is a soppy cat and likes to drink water from the bath instead of a bowl :-) Stevie is also friendly but on his terms and loves to play with the laser light, carrier bags and string.
WIGMORE and NEGUMBO are Maine Coone boys born in 2004. They are incredibly docile and loving cats who crave lots of attention. Both are lap cats who love to sleep next to people and immediately flock to anyone entering a room. They never scratch or bite and always come when called. They are indoor cats. Their owners had small children and the boys were distressed.
GIZMO (left) and CLEO (right) were fostered when their owner had a breaskdown. The foster-carer's granddaughter is allergic to cats and could no longer visit, and their owner did not want them back so the cats needed a permanent home. They are lovely lap cats, born 1999.
