We always need help and support to save the lives of cats. Could you volunteer to help us? We need:
People to care for cats in their own homes temporarily, until a permanent home is found. Advice given if needed. This is an ongoing and urgent need.
People willing to drive cats where needed. This means collecting reported strays, taking and collecting cats from vet surgeries, delivering cats to new homes, etc.
People able to visit potential new owners to assess suitability of care and environment.
People able to sell our merchandise to raise funds.
Permanent homes for our cats.
If you are unable to help us in any of the ways listed above, there is something you could do for us. We always need money to pay vet bills and other cat related expenses. We do not spend any donated money on admin - the small admin costs are paid by the core workers of the organisations out of their own pockets.
The recession has meant more cats needing help while at the same time less money comes in as people have less to give. Without your help we will not be able to continue and cats will inevitably die from starvation in the streets or be prematurely killed. If you can afford to help financially every gift of money, however small, will help us to save more lives.
We have several money raising schemes. Moggy Mates (for 9 Lives) and Feline Friends (for Paws for Life) brings in regular amounts.
'Adopting' or sponsoring a cat does the same. It is the small, regular amounts that keep us going.
Think about becoming a Moggy Mate or Feline Friend, or 'adopting' or sponsoring one of our cats, and tell you friends, relatives and colleagues about the schemes.
Would you be WILLing to leave us a legacy or bequest? Please download information about this way of providing us with funds to continue our work. |
