SANDY was a stray who was rejected by the people feeding him when he was found to be FIV positive. He is a great favourite of his 9 Lives carer.

SIMON is a healthy tabby born about 1995. He is friendly and happy to live with other cats.

SMOKEY JOE is a lovely, friendly silver tabby who was one of the homeless strays of London. Suffering from cat 'flu he ended up at a veterinary hospital where he was due to be killed because he had no owner. 9 Lives could not let him be killed. Since coming into our care he has become diabetic.

SCAMPI and her sister Chips were born in 1992. They have been together all their lives. Their owner was allergic to them and reluctantly has to part with them.

STORY was born in 1999. Story, who is FIV+ve, needed a new home when her owners started a family. She is now living with her son Cleveland.

SHELBY is a very old lady, born in 1987. She lives in retirement with her lifelong companion Gizmo (No.1). For medical reasons their owner was no longer able to care for them.
